Oaken Shield Equestrian teaches hunter, jumper, and dressage riding in South Lyon, Michigan, offering group, semi-private, and private lessons. Lead trainer Ariel competes at a national level, from Wellington to Tryon, and works with students anywhere from their first walk-trot lessons up to three-foot-six courses. The barn also offers boarding, training, and summer camps, plus a senior group lesson for riders fifty-five and up.
