Overview

Boulder Basin Outfitters guides horseback trips into the backcountry around Cody, Wyoming, and Yellowstone, from a couple of hours on the trail in the Washakie area to pack trips of three to ten days. Multi-day trips travel by horse through the Shoshone and Bridger-Teton national forests, with tents, cots, and camp meals provided, and fly fishing and fall hunting can be worked in. Rides welcome guests ages six and up within a 275-pound limit, on beginner-friendly horses suited to the wilderness.
