Capistrano Valley Riding Center, formerly Newport Mesa Riding Center, teaches English riding at the San Juan Capistrano Equestrian Center in Southern California. The program uses the Sabo System, a horsemanship-first method that carries riders from a first lesson toward the upper levels of the sport, working with beginners and experienced competitors on the center's school horses, with lease options available. New riders begin with a one-hour private introductory lesson that assesses their level and pairs them with a trainer, and the center also runs a Pony Club and summer camps.
