Walk On is a nonprofit therapeutic riding center in Barrington, Illinois, where PATH International certified instructors teach adaptive riding and equine-assisted lessons to children, adolescents, and adults with a range of abilities. Every participant is evaluated by a licensed occupational therapist before starting, and lesson plans are written for each rider, from fully independent riding to riding with a horse leader and side walkers. An ADA-accessible ramp, a lift, and adapted mounting blocks help riders mount, and a driving program adds carriage work.
